The film will runs for approximately 5 minutes then loops, so that
the story, viewed from anywhere in its run continues on. The film is dubbed
from the original French into English.
During the excerpt, the Resistance will decide to launch a retaliatory
strike against the Nazi occupators as a result of the death of one of
their number, Francois Renard.
They plot in the basement of a café. Once the plan is decided the
Resistance begin there action. They blow-up Gestapo Headquaters, Chateau
Rien in Montlucon, but are followed by Captain Ungeheuer
of the Gestapo as they escape the carnage.
He follows Francois Renard back to the café, where he captures
him and leads him off. The officer tells the Frenchman how long he has
been chasing him and they argue as they walk towards the Gestapo compound.
Before they can get there however, Renard attacks the Nazi and runs. Ungeheuer
recovers and shoots him as he flees down the street. At this point the
film will loop.
